Cache Aerators also Referred to as the Hidden or Recessed Aerator
The Cache® Aerator threads directly (and disappears) into the faucet spout, making it vandal proof by design. These aerators are also called recessed aerators or hidden aerators and require a special aerator key for installation or removal. We include 1 - special aerator key with each order. Cache® Aerators have been used by OEMs since 2006.
There are four different sizes of Cache® aerators and are metric in size. You can easily identify the size of a cache aerator by using a quarter, dime, nickel and penny. A Standard size Cache Aerator (M24 x 1) is the size of a quarter. The Junior size (M21.5 x 1) is the size of a nickel. A Cache Tiny Junior, or TJ size (M18.5 x 1), is the size of a penny. A Cache Tom Thumb, or TT size (M16.5 x 1), is the size of a dime.
